Fernando is a mask I made from paper mache, and yarn. To attach his fur, I knitted a mask to pull over his face to which I could tie the long strands. This is dedicated to Fernando Nugent, a dear friend, and one of the best teachers I have ever known. He was respected and beloved by his students.Copyright Susan Moore

Not sure if you are aware of this or not, but Fernando Nugent, the dead high school teacher was a pedophile. I know some of his victims. Honoring him in this way is offensive to the damage this man did in other people's lives.
