Laura's Meadow

One of my most recent oil paintings is this sunny green peek into my daughter Laura's favorite place in Sebastopol. It's a lush grassy meadow amid a small forest of oak trees, the kind of place that makes the busy world drop away for a little while. On exhibit at Sonoma County Harvest Fair, 2009.

LOVE the greys and greens ~ so mellow-feeling. Also noticed you have TITLED everything; your blog looks more consistent now, me thinks! A thought: can you edit your masthead so that the word "by" is the 2nd line and "Susan Moore" is on a 3rd line? Maybe it will intefere too much with Leo? Just a thought...

Went back and looked at your masthead - my thoughts would impede on Dear Leo's wonderful head. Any chance of putting "by Susan Moore" at the very bottom???

I could try. As I remember, I felt lucky when I finally managed to get Susan and Moore on the same line. For a while, it read Geyserville Art by Susan
Moore. :-)
